Artisanal craft in nairobi with Atarah Crafts Kenya
PAG Shops Local
When we travel one of the most important things we do is shop local. Our local business highlights showcase some of our favorite local businesses.
Atarah Crafts Kenya
Located in the heart of Nairobi’s Lavington neighborhood, Atarah Crafts Kenya is a woman-owned brand celebrating the rich tapestry of African craftsmanship. They specialize in natural, handwoven, and sustainable goods. The owner, Caroline, curates a vibrant collection of artisan-made items sourced from across the continent—including stunning baskets and pieces from Ghana and Mali.

More than just a shop, Caroline started the business out of her passion for interior decor and Atarah Crafts highlights where tradition meets contemporary design. Each piece tells a story of heritage, skill, and community, making it a perfect destination for those seeking meaningful, ethically made décor and gifts.
Visit them at 105 Davidus Garden, Lavington, or explore their offerings on Instagram: @atarahcraftskenya. They deliver countrywide (Kenya) and are open Monday to Saturday, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
